Katie Nerod, who joined Fistula Foundation as communications associate in April 2024, is now senior marketing associate. In her role, she manages content development for donor stewardship and solicitation efforts across print and digital media. Before joining the Foundation, Katie worked as an elementary school teacher in Menlo Park, California, and served in a project management role at a pharmaceutical company.
Katie holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in health communications from Boston University. Katie brings to her role a passion for improving global health and advancing gender equity.
