Donalda Watson-Walkinshaw

In September 2023, Donalda joined Fistula Foundation as director of fundraising operations. She has worked for more than 25 years at nonprofits in fields such as higher education, healthcare, parks and recreation, libraries and literacy, environment and science education, and community and public television. Her experience as a nonprofit professional includes database management, volunteer coordination, grant writing, major-donor engagement, fund development, planned giving, corporate and community partnerships, direct mail, strategic planning, and organizational development. During her years in public broadcasting, Donalda regularly hosted live television, and wrote scripts for nationally distributed PBS pledge breaks.

Donalda received a bachelor of science degree in music from the University of Colorado at Denver, and she holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. She has served on the board of the Silicon Valley chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 2019. Donalda deeply values the relationships that she builds through fundraising and through working with people in her community. Her favorite pastimes include moviegoing, reading, listening to classical music and British dance music, visiting museums, and attending airshows.
