On November 10, 2023, Fistula Foundation hosted a private event at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, featuring a conversation between Peter Singer, the “father of Effective Altruism,” and CEO Kate Grant, moderated by NPR’s Brooke Gladstone. At the end of the current academic year, Peter Singer is retiring from his post at Princeton University. This event offered a special opportunity to hear from Singer about the core ideas of his moral philosophy at one of New York’s most famous venues.
