Michele Boudreau joined Fistula Foundation in 2020 as Vice President of Communications. She brings 20 years of communications leadership experience, most recently as head of communications for the largest chapter in the Alzheimer’s Association’s chapter network. In this role she established advanced digital marketing capabilities and drove one of the Association’s leading public relations programs. Previously she was director of corporate communications for biotech start-up Maxygen, where her public relations and investor relations strategies doubled the company’s analyst coverage. At Caliper Life Sciences she helped shape the company’s earliest drug discovery marketing efforts, ultimately stepping up to lead corporate communications when the company launched its initial public offering.
Michele has served in a volunteer capacity for CASA of Silicon Valley, Canine Companions for Independence, and the Town of Los Gatos Community and Senior Services Commission. She is a native Californian who cherishes the diversity of culture and geography in her home state. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology from UC San Diego.
