Clément Lofumbwa Balilo

Clément Lofumbwa Balilo joined the Fistula Foundation Treatment Network in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as program officer in 2023. He provides technical and operational support to the network, and is based in Kinshasa. 

Clément is a medical doctor who specializes in epidemiology and disease control. He brings to Fistula Foundation more than 15 years of experience in the field of public health. In recent years, he worked for two international-aid organizations, Adventist Development and Relief Agency and United Methodist Committee on Relief. Previously, he worked for the Congolese government at the Ministry of Public Health. There, he coordinated the ministry’s sexual and reproductive health portfolio, including epidemic response and primary healthcare. Clément is passionate about improving the quality of patient care and advancing women’s rights.
