Hannah Garone, who joined Fistula Foundation as donor relations manager in June 2022, took on the role of director of philanthropy in March 2025. She holds a bachelor of arts in sociology, with a specialization in health and environment, from the College of New Jersey. An alumna of AmeriCorps, Hannah served with City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley in 2016–2017. She then worked as a recruiter for City Year, where she cultivated relationships with potential candidates and monitored candidate data. Hannah has also worked as a teacher both locally and internationally, and she brings a passion for relationship-building to her work at Fistula Foundation. That work supports core donor relations functions and project management for fundraising efforts.
