Suntali Giri Dhanju joined Fistula Foundation as donor relations associate in January 2025. Prior to this, she served in a temporary position with the organization since November 2024. In her role as donor relations associate, Suntali helps manage donor-related administrative tasks including entering and managing gift records, assisting with the gift acknowledgement process, handling donor inquiries, and supporting the mail production process.
Prior to joining Fistula Foundation, Suntali spent more than eight years at the International Organization for Migration, and more than a year at the Tri-City Voice newspaper. During her tenure at the International Organization for Migration, she supported refugee resettlement missions in Nepal and the U.S., and held various positions in administration, procurement, public relations, and operations. Her most recent role was at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago as an operations focal point, flight management. In this role, she was responsible for assisting refugees at the port of entry, during their screening by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and ensured their safe departure to their destination.
Suntali holds a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She is deeply committed to humanitarian work, serving as a voice for underprivileged groups.
